Lit City U

Lit City U is a year-round after-school program that provides a holistic approach to youth development, grounded in three guiding questions: Who am I? Where am I going? What legacy will I leave behind? Designed for students on the margins, especially Black youth, our program focuses on leadership development, mentoring, advocacy, via sports & fitness and the arts, empowering young people to see their full potential and cultivate a sense of purpose during the school year.

At Lit City U, we’re not just helping students succeed academically—we’re preparing them to be tomorrow’s leaders, activists, and creators who will leave a lasting legacy. Together, we build a future where Black and marginalized youth are empowered to lead with purpose, pride, and vision.
